Refund Policy

1. This policy sets out the returns policy for goods or services purchased through the online store operated by Summerdale Garden Nursery.

2. Due to the perishable nature of plant material we are only able to offer a refund if a plant is damaged in transit or diseased. We hope that the latter is unlikely as care is taken during selection before packing. We advise that plants are caerfully unpacked and inspected on receipt. If the plants have been held in a sorting office for a few days they may look etiolated but will recover. They should be kept in a cool shaded but light area for a few days and lightly water the pot as necessary. If they are left in direct sunlight, particularly during Summer, this can prove fatal. If a problem is noted then please let us know within seven days with details. It helps to send photographs to assess the problem, but we may ask you to return the plant/plants before a refund is processed. We are unable to accept postage costs incurred without contacting us.
