Anemonella
Anemonella thalictroides (rue anemone) is a dainty woodland perennial native to the eastern side of North America. Perfect for rhe woodland rock garden. A member of the ranunculus family, it's name derives from the dainty flowers, similar to wood anemone, but with thalictrum like leaves. Prefers a shaded site with well-drained humus rich soil. Grows and flowers in Spring and is summer dormant.
Clump forming.
We offer both the species, which can be propagated by seed, and a number of interesting cultivars with exsquisite flower forms.
